WRITING

Throughout my career I have written both television and radio scripts, including final text for presentation in an on-air newscast.

I’ve researched and published my own book. It was developed as a joint project with CN to honor Canada’s last operating steam locomotive.

On a freelance basis, I’ve written for various magazines and publications, including United Press Canada and the Montreal Gazette. That included front page exclusive material researched and verified as an investigative reporter. The story led to the creation of a national inquiry into police operations in Quebec. I was also Publisher and Editor of two weekly newspapers covering suburbs just to the north of Montreal. The North Shore Gazette and Le Journal Rive Nord had a combined circulation of 35,000. In a weekly newspaper, the Editor frequently writes most of the content.

On a more formal basis, I have written business plans and presentations, and consumer operating manuals in both English and French.

I have also written material for web sites.
